I began crafting as a child. I was always working next to my mom as she taught me everything she knew. As a young adult in 1985, I was diagnosed with a terrible illness called Crohn’s Disease. I knew that the wonderful moments I shared crafting with my mom, were over. As my illness progressed, I became more and more depressed.
In 1995, I found the wonderful world of rubber stamping. With my husband’s loving encouragement, I began crafting once again and my spirits soared. Once again, with my husband’s gentle nudging, I started my business, Stampin’ Queen Creations, as a professional craft designer in 2000.

As of this year, I have had 49 hospitalizations and 20 surgeries. My spirit has been broken and repaired more times than I can count. Each time, I would always return to my passion for crafting. There are three things that have saved my life through the years. They are, my faith in God, my husband’s love and support, and my love of crafting. And, I continue to thank my mom for nurturing my love of crafting all those years ago.
