My cure for this stress was crafting with found objects. To my amazement, it had almost immediate effects. I felt more relaxed and even enjoyed myself. It was like the smoke cleared from my foggy brain and suddenly I could feel that fuzzy, warm feeling from making something beautiful.
Little did I know that I would make crafting and design my career (since 1997) and I’ve never looked back. The health benefits of crafting soothed my soul and I’m ever so grateful that crafting now plays a major role in how good I feel about myself and my good health. Now, I’m able to help others discover the benefits of making something handmade.
