I read Lisa Rojas story about Crohn's disease, what a great person to pull herself up and keep starting over. (April 12, 2010 post)
Lisa and I met at a workshop with Maki n Clay we started talking and she shared her health problems with me. Little did I know Lisa has Fibromyalia also.
In the class I was having a Fibro attack, but would not tell anyone what was wrong. It took me twice as long to finish my project than anyone else. This was not good just being a new designer, Lisa came over sat next to me and we just started talking like we knew each other for along time. I asked, Lisa to please be my mentor and she said, YES! I felt all the stress melt away after that.
If I could please ask if you to put two important other health problems on your web page. I have Hemochromatosis and Sjogren's (show-grins) you would not believe how many millions of people have these other health issues that goes along with Fibromyalia. If I didn't have my crafts and being a designer I wouldn't be here today, even on my web page I try to get women to not give up because of Fibromyalia. Doing the crafts and designing really helps by letting me relax and keeping my mind busy in a positive direction
I am very proud of my sis and all
that she has accomplished inspite
of her health issues. She has a good attitude even when she isnt feeling up to par. I hope she continues to share her talents and inspirations with all of us. With all my love and respect,
your sis , Barb.
